WALLA WALLA RIDESHARE
RideSharing is a good way to conserve resources, reduce our carbon footprints, build community, and increase mobility. This site is dedicated to the promotion and practice of RideSharing in the Walla Walla area.
If you would like to offer a ride or if you need a ride, either in and around Walla Walla, or between Walla Walla and other places, please read our rules and registration form, send us the completed form, click on one of the RideShare categories in the upper left hand corner of this page, then review current posts, add a post, and check back periodically for appropriate matches. You can also subscribe to new posts in each category, which will be automatically displayed on your toolbar. If you have any questions, please email us at WWRideShare@charter.net.
WALLA WALLA RIDESHARE RULES
To protect all participants, before you enter a post for a needed or available ride, please read the following RideShare rules and registration agreement, print and complete the registration form, and mail it with a photocopy of your motor vehicle department photo ID to Walla Walla RideShare, PO Box 1222, Walla Walla WA 99362, or send a scanned copy to WWRideShare@charter.net. You will then receive a WWRS Registration Number to use in your postings, which we will verify on request of other participants, and you will receive an endorsed copy of your registration form to display to other participants, if desired.1. All riders and drivers will be required to display their motor vehicle department photo ID and Walla Walla RideShare Registration Form on request of any participant.
2. Drivers must be currently licensed and insured adults. Minor riders will be permitted to participate only if they have an approved Rideshare Registration Form signed by their parent or guardian, with photo ID.
3. Use of tobacco or alcohol by participants is prohibited
4. Mutual respect by all participants is required, including respect of traffic and vehicle maintenance laws.
5. Participant contact information shall not be used for other purposes without consent.
6. Misconduct will result in suspension of participation and registration.
RIDESHARE REGISTRATION FORM
The undersigned, in consideration of the privilege of participating in Walla Walla RideShare, a community service, agrees to comply with the rules of such service as posted on its website or otherwise made available to participants, and hereby waives any claim for damages for negligence or other wrongful act or omission of the sponsors of the service, and of any officer, employee, agent or volunteer of said service or sponsors, other than drivers, in connection with said service.
The undersigned understands the potential risks involved in participating in such service, and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the service and said sponsors and persons from any and all damages or expenses relating to claims made by, on behalf of, or with respect to the undersigned or any minor child, ward or other person designated below, and from any claim arising from acts or omissions of the undersigned or said minor child, ward or other designated person, and hereby authorizes any necessary emergency medical services required by said persons arising from such service.

Attach a copy of a motor vehicle department photo ID for the adult, and for each minor listed. If the minor is not eligible for a motor vehicle department photo ID, a current school photo ID may be attached instead. Send completed registration form and copy of ID to Walla Walla RideShare, PO Box 1222, Walla Walla WA 99362, or send a scanned copy to WWRideShare@charter.net.
